The past weeks have gone by very fast here in Lodz. During my time here the weather has mostly been could, windy along with a grey sky. But this weekend was different. We finally enjoyed a sunny spring weather. This third biggest city of Poland, Lodz used to be know for its textile industry. Me and my friends naturally wanted to take advantage of the weather, so we rented bikes from the hotel and explored the city. We drove to the Herbst Palace museum, which is one of the most popular places to visit according to tripadvisor. The owner of a large textile manufactury used to live in this palace with his family and today it is a museum. The Palace was surrounded by a beautiful garden in which flowers were blooming and you could just feel the nature waking to spring.
